  IMPORTANT NOTE

Hello Everyone -

Direct Supply has been graciously hosting and sponsoring our group for well over a year now, and we are very appreicative. Due to a variety of reasons that have asked that all guests not arrive more than 30 minutes prior to the meeting. If you are coming to the Architecture SIG before hand, this especially applies to you. It is disruptive to have many people there early while people are still working. They have also asked that I announce that they will be closing the gates at 7:30 PM as well so that their security staff can go on about their regular business, so please be there before that or you may not be able to get into the building.

Also, I wanted to remind you that Direct Supply has always been very accomodating to our group. It goes without saying that we should remember to show their staff and property the highest respect. They don't have to host us, but they choose to. Please keep that in mind while you are on their campus.

Thank you.

Scott Isaacs
President, WI .NET Users Group

Beginner C++ for Expert Programmers
with Scott Seely

C++ is still one of the most popular languages out there. Given that there are hundreds of languages, that still means that 80%+ of you have never seen it or needed to use it. C++ informs a lot of what we do in other languages. Come on out and learn about this thing called C++. We'll teach you enough to read basic C++ code, understand the differences between a pointer and a reference, and maybe even show the dangers and benefits of this thing called multiple-inheritance. You'll learn a lot.
