Bitcoin: Introduction and Coding
with Matt Snyder and Kenny Younger
Bitcoin adoption is starting to accelerate in the world of mainstream e-commerce. If you don't know what Bitcoin is then this talk aims to provide you with a basic understanding of it and other cryptocurrencies. And since many of us are developers, it would not be complete without examples of how to write applications in this domain. So, we'll write a simple app that accepts Bitcoin payments.
About Matt Snyder
Matt is an independent technology consultant working as a software architect. His interest in cryptocurrencies began in late December 2013 when he inadvertently came across a Bitcoin YouTube video while he was procrastinating on wrapping Christmas gifts. Since that moment the gifts did make it under the tree in time, and Matt has continued to explore the various aspects of this fascinating new technology.
